Bow Ties
This is Lawrence.  He makes and sells bow ties as a side business.  He does an amazing job.  We see his ties often.  They are recognizable because of the great quality of fabric he chooses, and the themes he uses in his ties.  His workmanship is so detailed.  He likes doing ties to fit a praticular celebration or hobby group.  Anyone who wears his ties wears them with pride.  Lawrence always has a smile and loves being known as the bow tie guy.  You can see more of his creations on Facebook at That Guy! Bow Ties.
Lawrence has two real favorite hobbies.  The first is Disney - anything to do with Disney.  That is reflected in a lot of his bow tie themes.  Here are just a few examples:  Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and 101 Dalmatians.
His other favorite is NASCAR racing.  He has been involved with racing for many years, and he makes it a point to be at the Indianapolis 500 every year.  He knows almost all of the drivers and can usually be found right down in the pits.
As you can see in the above photo, Lawrence will take commissions to make ties for any group, lik the Cincinnati Reds team.  You can see more details on his Facebook page if you would like to special order from him.
I told you he always has a smile.  Here he is riding the People Mover ride with one of our mutual friends, Alexandra, taking a break from the heat of the day and resting his feet before continuing around the Magic Kingdom.
This is Sean Neumayer, one of the photographers we know.  As you can see, he is proudly wearing one of the ties that Lawrence has made.  The best dressed men always sport ties from Lawrence Stoen!

Here are just a few more of the custom bow ties that Lawrence has made.  The

styles vary slightly, but the quality never changes.  If you ever have need of a bow

tie for any special occasion, we highly recommend that you contact Lawrence.

Here I am wearing a couple of Lawrence’ Stoen custom made ties.  They work so well with the vintage outfits that I wear.  And of course, people always comment on them when they see them.  They are that extra special finishing touch.  I’ am always proud to tell everyone we meet where they came from.

How to Tie a Bow Tie

Lawrence Stoen

Here you can see that it takes some special skill

and tools to make a bow tie. How to tie a bow

tie would always help these days. But

remember back in the day men would tie them

everyday to go to work. Some movies show the

wife tying  the bow tie. So I will guess that some

men had a problem with the tie or tying it.

Women had to have the extra burden of having

to tie the bow tie in reverse.
