Why the vintage baby buggy you ask? We will get to that later. The weather was very nice. A little rain at Epcot for just an hour. We had a great time seeing what each of us would wear each day. We started out at Disney Springs at the mixer for Dapper Day. We got to meet new people and the night time air was just right. You could see the fireworks from the top of the Paddlefish. That’s a restaurant at Disney Springs. Joanie worked for months on her 3 dresses. Ray and Joanie made the two hats for her dresses. Ray made the main part of the hats and Joanie finished the piping and added a longer top on the brown one. We also got the rest of the emblems for Ray’s WWII uniform. Tim wore his and Anna got a WWII nurse’s uniform with cape online. So when Ray found out that Anna was coming dressed in vintage he asked Tim if he would come dressed in his uniform. We had the American flag with 48 stars before, so we were ready. It’s great to show we love the military. Ray and Joanie served in Germany in the 80’s. Ray is also a Vietnam veteran. We got our picture with as many people as we could. We hope you enjoy them. We also have photographer friends and love to show their work here. People ask, “Where do we get a Dapper Day button like that?” Ray would say “ on my computer and drafting table.“ The next thing that happens is “Can you make me one?” He makes our buttons every Dapper Day. Ray designs most of the artwork on our web page. Buttons, link buttons, backgrounds, favicons etc. Now for the last 3 Dapper Days people have given us things to wear. This vintage TV was designed by a friend of ours, Pam and Brad Clements. What a great idea. It reminds us of the Prime Time Diner in Hollywood Studios. Joanie’s hats. Here is a little game we made up. At the mixer on Friday night Joanie had one hat on and walked around. Later she put the other hat on. So later Iris Zayas said to Ray, “Didn’t Joanie have a different hat on?” Ray said no, that’s the same hat. Ray came back to Joanie and said “ We have a new game to play!“ That’s Ray, always thinking. So we went back to Iris and said, “This hat?” Joanie changed hats for pictures that night. We made both hats to match her dress because that is what they did back in the day. Our days. Love to watch the old movies and see the hats that matched the dresses.
