Garden Party

Welcome

Garden Party at Epcot on April 17, 2016

The sun is out and

the colors of the

flowers are just

beautiful.

Our friends group is growing so fast. We are meeting new people all the time. We are just amazed how we have people coming from far away. Some only come to Dapper Day. We love to find out if they made or bought their dresses or suits. Ray is starting to get into sewing and making items. We have had so fun making the pins for people to wear. The one for the garden party was an old photo and then we took some of the color on the left side out so we have a fade. Then Ray cut the flowers and we both folded them. Joanie cut the tea pot with a die cut using a Sizzix. She embossed the paper first with an embossing folder and the Sizzix machine. The only thing was we ran out of pins because we did not know the Darlin’s group was going to be that big that day. So we are sorry if you did not get a pin. We were driving back from Gainsville, FL. one day and we like to stop at Micanopy just off 441 also exit 374 from I-75. They have some nice shops. It’s also where they have filmed some movies like Doc. Hollywood with Michael J. Fox. One of the shops was in MacIntosh and Joanie kept saying she would like to see that shop some day. It has moved to Micanopy and I have added a page here for that shop take a look at Winters Past.
